Drawing Competition of the 12 Animal Signs of the Chinese Zodiacs

Participants are divided into three age groups:  3-7, 8-12 and 12-16.

All entries can be sent or delivered to:
     FCAM,
     1st floor,
     12 Newton St,
     Piccadilly,
     Manchester
     M1 2AN.


All entries has to be arrived by 12 noon 4th February 2008.

  1. Content of the drawing has to be one of the 12 animal signs of Chinese Zodiacs: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, pig.

  2. The drawing can be done in any media.

  3. The drawing must be the original.

  4. The drawing must be done on a piece of A4 paper or card.

  5. The entry has to have the participant's name, age and school name at the back of the drawing.

  6. Maximum two entries per participant.

  7. FCAM owns the copy right of all entries.

  8. No entry can be returned to the owners unless a stamped SAE has been included with the entry.

  9. The Head of the Judging Panel has the final decision.
Prizes for each age group:

  • First Prize: £ 100 high street stores voucher
  • Second Prize: £ 50 high street stores voucher
  • Third Prize: £ 30 high street stores voucher
Winners and other selected entries will put into a calendar as a compliments for the winners and selected entry owners. The calendars are also for sale to raise fund for Chinese Sunday Schools.




"Love, Peace & Sport" Poem Writing Competition

Topic: Love, Peace & Sport



All entries can be sent or delivered to:

     Piccadilly,
     Manchester
     M1 2AN.


All entries has to be arrived by 12 noon 4th February 2008.


  1. The entry has to be original work of the writer and must not have been published previously elsewhere.

  2. Maximum two entries per participant. Each poem must not be more than 20 lines.

  3. The entry can be either printed or clear handwritten on an A4 peace of paper or card.

  4. The entry has to have the participant's name, age group and contact details: phone number and email address at the back of the entry.

  5. FCAM owns the copy right of all entries.

  6. The Judging Panel has the final decision.

  7. No entry can be returned to the owners unless a stamped SAE has been included with the entry.

  8. The Head of the Judging Panel has the final decision.
Prizes for each age group:

  • First Prize: £ 100 high street stores voucher
  • Second Prize: £ 50 high street stores voucher
  • Third Prize: £ 30 high street stores voucher
50 selected entries together with the winners will be printed as booklet for sale. All income generated will be donated to selected charities.
